In our journey through life, we find ourselves part of various tribes – be it our families, communities, workplaces, or social circles. These tribes, while offering a sense of belonging and identity, can sometimes foster toxic cycles that deeply impact our emotional well-being and hinder our personal growth. Breaking free from these toxic tribal cycles requires courage, self-awareness, and a deliberate commitment to healing and transformation. Understanding Toxic Tribal Cycles Toxic tribal cycles refer to repetitive, negative behaviours, beliefs, or dynamics within a group that are harmful to its members. These may include patterns of manipulation, emotional abuse, unchecked competitiveness, or stifling conformity that discourage individual expression and growth. The emotional connection we have with our tribes makes it challenging to recognize and address these toxic cycles, often leading us to justify or normalise unhealthy behaviours.
